About Us | Bales

Steven Bales, was born July 1st 1985 in Albert Einstein Hospital located
in The Bronx, NY. He was the third child and the second of fraternal
twins. Steven went to P.S.83 in The Bronx where he discovered that he
wanted to pursue a career in fashion. He then went on to Fashion
Industries H.S. in Manhattan and graduated with a fashion accredited
degree.

At this point, Steven was being mentored and guided into the fashion
world through internships and independent fashion-forward individuals.
He made the choice to branch out on his own and start his own. This
is when he decided to attend University at Buffalo. He studied fashion
design for 4 1/2 years and made a decision for his life to stop attending
school and focus on his goals and dreams.

Steven Bales now runs Bales Clothing with a few partners, who design,
publicize and promote Bales Clothing as well. They are currently
working on their spring/summer 2012 collection and creating more
awareness of their growing company with public icons, local and
National celebrities. You will see them featuring new graphic designs
and new apparel for women. Menswear will be coming soon.

Steven’s diverse background has also empowered him to reach
out to people with different backgrounds to create unity within a
clothing company. His mother is of African American and Chinese
decent and his father is Puerto Rican and Filipino.
